No more than five years ago, this post would be about how I set up my artisinal blog using Hugo, GitHub Pages, and my custom domain. No more than five years ago, I did exactly that for the blogs I started. But in the age of ‘hey Claude, make me an artisinal blog with Hugo, github Pages, and my custom domain’, that seems kinda pointless now. So let me talk about what I want to write about.

this blog is primarily meant as (1) a forcing function for me to learn things (because I only learn by writing) and (2) a way to keep notes for myself, which other people might find interesting.

The blog is split into three sections: posts (worked-out material which I feel comfortable being on the main page); notes (work-in-progress writing about things I’m learning about/thinking through); and experiments (things that I’m trying to implement in my life, via modifications I make for a period of time).

I’ll also write about knowledge, disability, relationships, stories, and other things, as it strikes my fancy.
